Remove Buhari like Omar al-Bashir – Fani-Kayode tasks Nigerian youths to emulate Sudan

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, has reacted to how the ministerial portfolios were shared among the six geo-political zones in the country.

In his reaction on his verified Tweeter handle, Fani-Kayode asked Nigerian not to complain about the sharing pattern of the portfolios favoured the northern part of the country than the Southern region adding that President Muhammadu Buhari’s led government is “of the Fulani, by the Fulani.”

He said; “Don’t complain that @MBuhari gave the largest number of Ministries and the biggest and most strategic Ministerial portfolios to the NW. What do u expect? His is a Govt of the Fulani, by the Fulani and for the Fulani. Under him, non-Fulanis are regarded as nothing more than slaves.”

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday swore in the 43 appointed ministers at the Federal Executive Council Chambers, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Out of the 44 positions, Buhari’s zone, the north-west alone, has 10 senior ministerial portfolios (including the president’s portfolio as substantive minister of petroleum), but no junior portfolio.

The zonal distribution, where some regions have more junior ministerial positions than others, just as another region takes a large slice of the senior positions as attracted kicks from some quarters.

The southeast has three senior ministerial positions and three junior portfolios; the south-south has three substantive positions in the cabinet, and four junior.

The south-west has five substantive positions and three junior positions. The north-central has three senior positions, and four junior positions, while the north-east has four senior positions and three junior positions.

The north-west takes a generous portion both in the number of portfolios and in the strength of the offices.

Fani-Kayode, however, said he will judge each of the Ministers based on their performance regardless of relationship attached.

“I will judge each of @MBuhari‘s Ministers based on their performance and not based on my disdain and contempt for his administration. Any Minister, whether friend or foe, that performs well will receive my commendation/support and any that does not will get hell from my pen,” he Tweeted.
