Results announced from 32 local government areas (LGAs) in Oyo state show that Seyi Makinde, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is leading Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The PDP candidate is currently winning after he garnered 481,176 votes from results released for the local government areas while Adelabu, his major rival, polled 339,793 votes, leaving a margin of 141,378 votes.
