Coordinator of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) in South-South and South-East, Alhaji Musa Saidu has urged Muslims and Christians in the country to rally behind President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the 2019 presidential election.
In his Sallah message in Port Harcourt Wednesday, Saidu urged Muslims to adhere to the teachings of Islam by showing love and being kind to fellow man.
He added that President Buhari will not succeed if he does not have the support of Nigerians.
Saidu said, “I want to call all Muslims and Christians alike to support President Muhammadu Buhari through their prayers and total commitment to his administration. I want our Muslim faithful to be prayerful and pray that Buhari must succeed”
” I also want them to observe all the tenets of Islam by loving one and other. I also want them to be their brother’s keeper by providing for the needy. Islam preaches love and the only way love can be demonstrated is when you be your brother’s keeper by assisting those in need.”
He called on Muslims especially those residing in South-South and South-East to obey all the constituted authorities and not to engage in any act of lawlessness.
Saidu also commended the Managing Director of NIMASA, Dr Adol Peterside for the love he has shown to Muslims across Rivers State and urged him to continue his selfless service to humanity.
