Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has made a candid public confession that has once again stirred conversations across the entertainment space.

The award-winning singer made the disclosure in Benin City during the MC EdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and Legends show, moments before mounting the stage for his performance.

Addressing the audience, 2Baba said he had a confession to make in order to “set the record straight,” admitting that he had put an end to impregnating women.

“But see, I get confession. I dey make this confession everywhere I go now to set the record straight. I don stop to dey do that kind of thing, I don stop to dey give belle anyhow. I swear, ask anybody now, they will tell you that I’m innocent,” the singer said, drawing laughter and cheers from the crowd.

2Baba’s statement comes against the backdrop of his widely publicised personal life, particularly his history of having children with multiple women outside marriage.

He later had three children with Pero Adeniyi between 2006 and 2012, further fuelling public scrutiny of his private life.

The music icon also shares two daughters with his former wife, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, whom he was married to from 2012 until their divorce in 2025.

Most recently, 2Baba welcomed a new baby with his current partner, Natasha Osawaru, with whom he has entered into a controversial marriage, reigniting debates around his romantic choices.

The singer’s latest confession has since generated mixed reactions online, with fans and critics debating whether it marks a turning point in the life of one of Nigeria’s most celebrated music legends.Watch Video
