The Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Alhaji Wasiu Lawal, has expressed his sorrow over the passing of the Asiwaju of Aworiland, Chief Ayodeji Otegbola, who died on Monday, February 17, 2025.

In a statement shared with newsheadline247, Lawal conveyed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the Otegbola family.

He highlighted the late politician’s commitment to the development of his constituency, the state of Ogun, and Nigeria as a whole, saying, “The immense contributions of the late Ayodeji to the development of Awori land, Ogun State, and the nation will always be remembered and cherished.”

Lawal stated, “On behalf of my family, my political associates, and the good people of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Senator Solomon Ayodeji Otegbola, the Asiwaju of Aworiland, as we mourn the passing of our leader and elder statesman on this day, February 17, 2025.
