Expressing gratitude for NITP’s commitment to fostering developmental synergy, he emphasized his administration’s openness to alliances that prioritize progress.

“We are ready to work with partners like NITP to bring meaningful development to the people of Ado-Odo/Ota,” he stated, specifically urging the institute to collaborate with the council’s Department of Works and Housing for effective project execution.

TPN Adefela Sogbesan, Chairman of NITP’s Ogun State chapter, commended Hon. Lawal’s hospitality and pledged the institute’s support through technical expertise and project alignment with national planning standards.

The delegation included prominent figures such as TPN Shokor Amope, former Ogun State Head of Service, who highlighted Ado-Odo/Ota’s status as a key economic hub in southwest Nigeria. Amope urged the council to continue prioritizing well-planned infrastructure to sustain this vibrancy.

Also present was TPN Kadiri Waheed, former Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and a pioneering NITP chairman, who praised Hon. Lawal’s ongoing projects across the council area. Waheed noted that NITP’s expertise could bolster these efforts, fostering a stronger relationship to help deliver on the administration’s promises to residents.

A highlight of the visit was the presentation of an Award for Excellence to the Council boss, Hon. Lawal, recognizing his leadership in driving development.

The NITP team also toured ongoing projects within the Secretariat and its annex, gaining insight into the council’s ambitious agenda.
