The Ado-odo/Ota Local Government Tourism Consultative Committee in Ogun state is set to host stakeholders and key players in a summit tagged Awori Tourism Roundtable Meeting.
The gathering will discuss hitches impending growth and market values of tourism in the local government and the state.
Prince Adetunji Fadina, the Chairman of the committee said the roundtable discussion with the stakeholders is primarily aimed at proffering solutions to factors affecting tourism development not just in Ado-odo/Ota but in the entire state.
In a statement made available to the media through the Publicity Secretary of the committee, Lukman Omikunle, the event coming up on the 1st of May 2019 at Eden Hotel Ota, will also include stakeholders from neighbouring Lagos state.
“The programme of the Awori Tourism roundtable meeting will include speakers and interactive sessions, where stakeholders from Lagos State will have the opportunity to discuss and brainstorm on the way forward for tourism development in the local government,” Omikunle said.
He said, “The Tourism Consultative Committee will host Stakeholders at the Ado-Odo /Ota Tourism Roundtable Meeting on Wednesday 1st May 2019.
“The Awori Tourism roundtable meeting is aimed at proffering solution to the teaming problems confronting the Industry and also will be an avenue to chart a way forward for Tourism in the state.
“While all avenues for tourism development will be explored, we have included major speakers and interactive sessions where stakeholders from Lagos state will have the opportunity to discuss and brainstorm on the way forward for Tourism in the local government.”
Major stakeholders in the industry from Lagos and Ogun states are billed for the all-important Awori Tourism Roundtable Meeting.
