A video and photographs showing Mr Willie Obiano, former governor of Anambra State, in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have emerged online.
In the 20 second-video, Obiano who handed over to Governor Charles Soludo on Thursday is seen drinking water from a bottle while sitting on one of the chairs at the commission’s Abuja office.
The former governor who is on a pair of shorts and a striped T-shirt was having a conversation with an unidentified person.
Recall that Obiano was arrested on Thursday night at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos while trying to fly to Houston Texas in the United States hours after handing over to Governor Soludo.

The EFCC, according to sources, is investigating the former governor for withdrawing N37 billion of state funds in cash, among other alleged fraudulent activities.
The News Agency of Nigeria in a report on Saturday quoted an anonymous EFCC source in Abuja to have disclosed that the former governor was being interrogated over alleged misapplication of N5 billion-Sure-P and N37 billion security vote, withdrawn in cash.
