Nollywood Star Actress, Bimbo Ademoye Vows to Fund IVF for One Person After Film Success
Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has announced plans to sponsor an in vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedure for an individual, fulfilling a personal vow she made ahead of the release of her 2025 film, Broken Hallelujah.
In a video shared online, Ademoye revealed that she had made a promise to God that if the film achieved significant viewership, she would take a step to positively impact someone’s life. Broken Hallelujah has since garnered over 11 million views on YouTube.
The actress noted that another film released in December 2025, Where Love Lives, also recorded impressive viewership, which she described as a confirmation that her prayers had been answered.
“When I was about to release Broken Hallelujah, I made a promise to God. I said if I get a certain number of views, especially like 15 to 20 million, I was going to do something that would touch one person’s life. I want to pay for someone’s IVF procedure,” she said. “Even if it is not Broken Hallelujah, another project has answered my prayer.”
Ademoye added that the emotional impact of the films on viewers and the messages she received further strengthened her resolve to honour the vow. She said details of the planned gesture would remain private for now, noting that the goal is to change one person’s life. Read More
