The alleged sex abuse case charged against a supervisor of a respected school of choice, Chrisland School-Lekki is far from over.

A report has it that the November 2016 sex scandal incident which emanated from the school is yet to be pushed out of the courtroom.

The sex abuse case which was moved from a magistrate court is now being handled by an Ikeja High Court.

Adegboyega Adenekan, the suspended school supervisor accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a two-year-old pupil at Chrisland School, Victoria Garden City was arraigned at the Ikeja High Court Yesterday.

The 47yr old school supervisor maintains his innocence in the case.

And the Judge, justice Sybil Nwaka ruled against Prosecutor Titilayo Shitta- Bey to commit the accused to prison custody by retaining the bail conditions of the magistrate court.

It was established by his lawyer that the accused attends the court of his own volition and open questioning in court sided with the perception he is not a flight risk.

Respected lawyer Olatunde Adejuyigbe stood for Adenekan.

The case which had parents of the victim in attendance has been adjourned to February 6 for the commencement of the trial.
