“The total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 309.”
The Lagos State Government, on Sunday, confirmed twenty-three new cases of COVID-19 in the state.
The State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, made this known via his Twitter page on Sunday.
With this development, the State now has 309 coronavirus cases.
Abayomi said, “23 new #COVID19 cases confirmed in Lagos State.
“The total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 309.
“4 COVID19 patients were discharged as at 18th of April bringing the total discharged cases to 94@jidesanwoolu.”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on a Saturday confirmed 49 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
The new cases were identified in Lagos, FCT, Kano, Ogun, Oyo, and Ekiti States.
Nigeria’s tally now stands at 542.
