The publisher Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has declared members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and that of the major opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as Nigeria’s greatest and deadliest pandemic.
Sowore, who is also the convener of the #RevolutionNow protest, stated in a video posted on his tweeter handle that both parties have failed to protect Nigerians at all levels adding that their ‘terrible leadership’ has been Nigeria’s major affliction.
Unimpressed by the response of the Government to COVID-19, Sowore said Nigerians should clamor for a collective struggle that can inoculate the country from their backward way of thinking.
“This is because, at the end of the day, the person holding the broom also has an umbrella when the broom is not working. So you are dealing with the same set of people- no difference,” he said in a broadcast behind a hut.

“APC and PDP are jokers and have failed to protect us,” Sowore stressed. He noted that some of the soldiers have lost all hope of defeating the war against insurgency while relying on Chad to do the dirty work for them.
“After every pandemic is over, bad leaders are the worst pandemic and epidemic that can happen to any country. Incompetent leadership, wicked leadership, terrible leadership that is afflicting Nigeria, After COVID-19, we still have a pandemic that will not go away; it doesn’t have time and season,” Sowore said.
