The management of DAMA MEDIA CONCEPT- Publishers of The Voice Magazine has rolled out drums to celebrate the 7th years of consistency and robust journalism in Nigeria Media Industry.
The anniversary will features series of event, Thanksgiving service, visit to the orphanage homes, installation of the publisher, Otunba Oladele Damilola as Baaroyin of Ilogbo Asowo by His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele the Onilogbo of Ilogbo Asowo, donating road furniture to Road Security agencies, award presentation to notable Nigerians that have make positive impacts in our nation in all facets of life and the Launching of a book written by the publisher, titled, My Testimony.
The historic event has been fixed for December 15, 2018, at Olori Amope Dada memorial Hall, Cathedral Church of St. James, Ota at 12noon.
Releasing the names of the awardees, the publisher, Otunba Oladele Damilola said the selection of these highly distinguished personalities is through rigorous process.
The award event which is organized annually by the organization to honours those that have made positive impacts in our society.
High Chief Bamigboye Akani Osunlabu, Pastor (Barr) Isaac Ogbah (Ota NBA Chairman), Cmd. Rinaye Tayo (Atan TRACE DTO), Prince Adeoye Abiodun (Director of needles Network), CSV Odunbaku Tajudeen (Vigilante Commander, Sango-Ota), Ven. Nelson Adewole (Dean, Cathedral Church of St. James) were among the notable personalities that have been shortlisted for this 7th-year-anniversary award.
In his word, Otunba Oladele Damilola said the awardees emerge after rigorous selection, adding, “these people have contributed to the development of our nation in terms of jobs creation, youth empowerment, and philanthropy. “We are honouring these people because they have shown a sense of diligence, honesty and loyalty in their various offices.
“We have painstakingly selected these people based on their commitment, God-fearing attitude, and integrity.
It is noteworthy to celebrate those who have not soiled their hands or tarnished the image of our nation but rather add value to it, he added.
Other personalities, according to the publishers to be honoured at the 7th year anniversary award include, ACC Oguntoyinbo, (Ota Unit Commander of FRSC, Ogun State Command), CSP Samuel Akanbi Olusegun(The DPO, Itele Police Division, Ota), Comrade Lekan Abatan, (Atan ACDC Chairman), Mr. Yinka Agbede, (Veteran Journalist and Media Consultant)
He said this year anniversary lecture will centre on 2019 General Election: Role of Media towards a better Poll.
