Officials of the Department of State Services on Tuesday dispersed protesters who stormed the headquarters of the services in demand for the release of the convener of the #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore.
Newsheadline247 learnt that the activists who were protesting the continued detention of Sowore met with resistance by the officials who dispersed them by shooting sporadically.

But before they were dispersed, rights activist and leader of the protest, Deji Adeyanju, alleged that some persons had approached and offered him the sum of N1million to suspend the protest.
Adeyanju, who displayed the cash also said that the money was offered to him at gunpoint. He, however, failed to disclose the identity of the persons who gave him the cash.
