Funke Adejumo Urges Wives to Embrace Their S3x Lives Boldly
Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo, co-founder of Agape Christian Ministries, has encouraged married women to take pride in their intimate lives and reject the shame often imposed by societal expectations. Speaking candidly, she emphasized the need for African women, in particular, to overcome cultural taboos that discourage them from openly enjoying or expressing their desires.
Adejumo urged wives to be vocal about their needs with their husbands and to shed the restrictive beliefs that label women who enjoy intimacy as improper.
She advocated for couples to foster a lively and open approach to their physical connection, arguing that it strengthens marriages. “I like s3x,” she declared. “If I didn’t, how would I have children? Yet many women pretend because African culture says showing you enjoy it makes you a prostitute.”
She challenged women to rethink this mindset, warning that suppressing their feelings could strain relationships. “When your husband touches you, you’re happy—admit it. Tell yourself s3x is good, that you want him. Don’t just lie there quietly during intimacy. Speak, moan, enjoy it,” she advised.
Adejumo blamed outdated traditions for allowing the devil to disrupt marital harmony through a lack of closeness. She encouraged wives to be playful and affectionate, suggesting they “tickle” or touch their husbands during lovemaking and offer praise afterward, like telling him, “You did a good job.”
