According to FilmOne, one of Nigeria’s leading film distributors, Behind the Scenes grossed a remarkable ₦2,103,039,706 within just one month of release, cementing Funke Akindele’s status as Africa’s most commercially successful filmmaker.

The achievement also positions her as the highest-grossing producer, writer, and director in West African history, and the first filmmaker to top the African box office for three consecutive years.
