Salihu Tanko Yakasai, a former media aide of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State, has relocated abroad.
Governor Ganduje had in February sacked Yakasai after he criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) government and President Muhammadu Buhari over protracted insecurity ravaging the country, particularly in the Northern Region.
After he was fired from Ganduje’s government, the Department of State Services (DSS) subsequently arrested and detained him for days.
Yakasai in some pictures he posted on social media, was seen at the airport of a yet to be known country.
A Qatar Airways aircraft was also seen in the background. He captioned the tweet “Goodbye Naija”.
