Gov. Adeleke approves N75,000 minimum wage for Osun workers
The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has approved a new minimum wage of N75,000 for civil servants, but details regarding the payment of arrears and the implementation date remain unclear.
The Commissioner for Information, Kolapo Alimi, confirmed that the Governor approved the new wage following recommendations from a committee led by the Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akinleye, and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Chairman, Comrade Chris Arapasopo.
However, Alimi did not provide any information about when the arrears would be paid or when the new minimum wage would take effect. More
