The Green Party of Nigeria (GPN) has declared the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari the most corrupt government in the history of Nigeria.
The party in details described Buhari’s fight against corruption as a scam and challenged the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government to present a case against corruption it fought successfully.
The Ogun-East senatorial candidate of the party, Armstrong Akintunde, addressing journalists during the 2018 celebration of Akesan day, in Remo, Ogun State, lamented that the rate of unemployment in the country had significantly increased under Buhari’s administration.
He stressed that the GPN was on a mission to retire old and non-performing politicians.
“The youth of the country have learnt their lessons from this APC government. When they came, they promised change and we can all see the kind of change they have given us. Going by their promises, I expect that the rate of unemployment should be reduced but to my surprise, it has increased.
“So, when they tell us that they want to take us to the next level, then we understand the kind of next level they will take us to, and I am sure many youths of this country will not allow them. This administration is the most corrupt in the history of Nigeria,” Akintunde said.
