The politician, who is currently embroiled in a marital crisis with his fourth wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, made the remark while defending his polygamous lifestyle during an interview on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics with Seun Okinbaloye.
“Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg — you know how difficult it is. But it is much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four,” Nwoko said.
“I feel sorry for those with one wife. I don’t have any regrets, and I will do the same thing again,” he added.
The senator’s comments quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions on social media, with many Nigerians questioning his views on marriage and gender balance.
Nwoko, known for his open advocacy of polygamy, argued that having multiple wives brings stability and balance to a man’s life — a position he said is rooted in cultural tradition and practicality.

Amid the controversy, Regina Daniels on Sunday posted a photo of herself standing on the balcony of a new house, triggering speculation that she may have moved out of her marital home.
The actress captioned the photo,
“I needed a roof over my head,”
— a statement that has since sparked intense online debate over whether the post was a subtle confirmation of a separation.
Sources close to the couple suggest that Regina may have acquired a new residence in Lagos State, though this claim has yet to be officially confirmed.
