The corpse of a United States of America-based Nigerian businessman, Wale Bob-Oseni, has been recovered from the ruins of the 21-storey building that collapsed on Gerrard Road in the Ikoyi, Lagos State.

Newsheadline247 understands that his body was found on Thursday by rescuers during the recovery operation at the site.

On Thursday, the corpse of Femi Osibona, the managing director of Fourscore Heights Limited, the owner of the collapsed building, was also recovered.

It was learnt that Bob-Oseni, a real-estate dealer, was on his way back to the US on Monday when he got a call from Osibona to check out the project.

Both friends were subsequently trapped when the building crumbled.

The 21-storey building caved in at about 2:30 pm on Monday when Osibona, who owned the project, Bob-Oseni, clients and several workers were on the site.

According to the Lagos State government, 32 bodies have been recovered so far.
