Social media influencer Papaya Ex has accused a police officer of assaulting her in the Ajah area of Lagos State.
The alleged incident reportedly occurred late at night while she was returning from a shoot. Speaking during an emotional TikTok live session on Friday, the influencer claimed that the officer struck her in the face with a gun, assaulted her driver, and touched her inappropriately.
During the live broadcast, she displayed visible injuries, including a wound mark on her face. She further alleged that the officer slapped her, hit her buttocks and breasts, and forcibly seized her mobile phone.
Although the alleged assault was not captured on video, Papaya Ex attributed the lack of footage to network issues at the time of the incident.
In clips circulating online, a police officer could be heard speaking during a heated exchange, as both parties engaged in a verbal confrontation.
The incident has since sparked widespread reactions across social media platforms, with many users calling for a thorough investigation.
