Nigerian film star Jim Iyke revealed that his latest movie, Light in the Dark, was removed from YouTube after a scene was flagged as inappropriate.

The actor shared the news via Instagram, noting that the film had racked up over 600,000 views in just a few days before its takedown.

Despite the setback, Iyke remained upbeat, praising his team’s tireless efforts and expressing gratitude for their commitment to the project.

In his announcement, the screen icon urged fans to rally behind a revised version of the movie, now re-uploaded to his YouTube channel, JIMIYKE TV.

“A new version is up now, and I need as many people as possible to watch, share, and spread the word,” he said, emphasizing the critical role of audience support. “Every view, every share, and every comment makes a huge difference.”
