For the records, I granted no such interview

Nigerian renowned pharmacist and politician, Olujimi Agbaje, has refuted a report by a popular online news platform quoting him to have scored Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu low in performance since his assumption into office in 2019.

The report added that Agbaje, who contested the 2019 Lagos State governorship election, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), described Sanwo-Olu’s claimed achievements as imaginary.

It said Agbaje expressed disagreement with Sanwo-Olu’s achievement claims hence, rated the governor’s performance three over ten.

“What they wrote, they did not substantiate it. They were things done in their imagination,” the news platform quoted him to have said.

“The said Mayowa Samuel claimed to have interviewed me. For the records, I granted no such interview to him or anyone from Peoples Gazette,” he stated.
