The National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has finally broken his silence on the crisis within the party.

Tinubu, according to a statement he reportedly signed on Saturday, said the crisis was needless and distractive.

He, however, backed President Muhammadu Buhari on the dissolution of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) saying it was the right thing to do in the circumstance.

The President, according to Tinubu, acted as a true father to save the party from disintegration.
