NURTW is fast becoming a menace to the entire peace-people of the state

A group comprising indigenes of Lagos State has urged Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to immediately proscribe all activities Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the state.

Popular socialite, Musiliu Akinsanya, widely address as MC Oluomo is the current chairman of the union in Lagos State.

According to the group, the Lagos State Prominent Indigenes Group (LSPIG), the NURTW is fast becoming a menace to the entire peace-people of the state.

The group pointed out that a frontline state that prides itself as a megacity in the country, former federal capital, and presently a commercial capital of Nigeria, cannot be seen entertaining and promoting our youths into thuggery, according to The Nation newspaper.

“Very recently in the state, Lagos Island precisely Obalende, was shut down by warring factions of the Union for over two days.”
