Sources within Globacom’s establishments have confirmed that Otunba Michael Ishola Adenuga, otherwise known as Mike Adenuga, the founder and chairman, is alive and in good health.
The reassurance came on the heels of rumours and claims on social media suggesting the telecom mogul’s demise.
A senior management source from Globacom reportedly disclosed that he and his colleagues recently spoke with Adenuga, often regarded as the “Pride of Africa,” dismissing the false reports. “No such thing happened. He is well,” the source affirmed, referencing conversations with the telecom tycoon.
Another staff member of the telecommunications giant, speaking anonymously, also emphasized that Adenuga, celebrated for his vast generosity, is hale and hearty. Other insiders from his diverse business empire corroborated the statement, laying the rumors to rest.
Otunba Mike Adenuga, the Chairman of the Mike Adenuga Group, oversees a conglomerate with interests in oil and gas, telecommunications, aviation, construction, banking, and real estate.
