The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Zone -2 has declared Ayan Asit Chakraborty wanted for fraud activities.
According to details seen by newsheadline247, a warrant of arrest has been issued by the Magistrate/High Court, Lagos.
Mr Chakraborty, 35, is wanted by the AIG, Zone-2, Lagos for Stealing and Fraudulent Diversion of the sum of five hundred million naira (N500,000,000) which he was alleged to have fraudulently transferred from company’s account to his various personal accounts for personal “benefit”.
The wanted Mr Chakraborty is an accountant, an Indian by nationality, adult, 5.7 height and medium built among other features and descriptions.
He is also said to be smoker who frequently visit clubs and lounges.
The police said the alleged fraudster should be reported to the nearest police station if spotted anywhere in the country.
