3SC manager, Gbenga Ogunbote, has expressed disappointment with the performance of some of the players recruited for the Nigeria Premier Football League 2022/23 season.
The Oluyole Warriors failed to replicate their outstanding pre-season performance during the campaign.
The 3SC gaffer said much was expected from the team but was disappointed with the outcome.
Ogunbote however admitted that the campaign was encouraging despite the challenges they encountered.
“During our pre-season, we were thinking it was going to be a good season,” Ogunbote said in Ibadan, according to Daily Post NG

“Unfortunately, the first stanza of the league wasn’t friendly we had a lot of challenges honestly, we paid dearly for it.
“But be it as it may, we have learnt one or two lessons, we will get better from there.”
Shooting Stars end the season in sixth position with 23 points.
