His Excellency, The Senator, Otunba Engr. ‘Gbenga Daniel, FNSE, FAEng, met with the officials of the DAWN (Development Agenda for Western Nigeria) Commission at his Asoludero residence in Sagamu on Monday, August 11, 2023.
The visit of the DAWN Commission delegation, led by its Director General, Mr Sola Oyeleye, is coming on the heels of the Southwest Development Commission (Establishment) Bill sponsored by Senator Daniel.
The Bill was presented for first reading at the Senate plenary on August 1, 2023.
When established, the Commission would be responsible for developing critical infrastructure across the southwestern part of the country.
The DAWN (Development Agenda for Western Nigeria) Commission has for years been championing the cause to forge a common front for the development of the Southwest.
