Rich and flamboyant popular Lagos monarch, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi of Ikateland has taken pretty Hadiza Tanko, as his second queen
Hadiza, the younger sister to Salihu Tanko Yakasai, a special adviser to the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Umaru Ganduje, will today, May 3, 2019, be married to Oba Elegushi in an anticipated colourful Nikkai ceremony in Kano State.
But Ikateland royal courtyard has been said to be radiating heats as the first wife, Olori Sekinat Aramide is reportedly being pained with the decision of the super-rich Lagos Island monarch.
Societynow.ng reported that Olori Sekinat Aramide is still reeling from the shock of her husband, Oba Elegushi‘s wedding to wife number two in faraway Kano, today.
It was further revealed that Olori Sekinat, was ferociously against the wedding when she was informed.
“But there was little she could do about it because the need was perfected before her husband informed her,” the report stated.
It was also gathered that Olori Sekinat had successfully pulled the plugs on two different previous attempts by Oba Elegushi to pick another wife since he became the King of Ikateland.
“She always conscripts influential personalities that King Gushi has a deep respect for to get her way, but this time she was outwitted” a source stated.
Insiders disclosed that Oba Elegushi – and his conspirators – kept Olori Sekinat in the dark until today’s wedding became inevitable before informing her.
“Olori Sekinat was shocked, was said to be hard it and became furious and ferociously kicked against the union but King Gushi turned the table on her by employing the Olori’s tactics against her,” it was stated.
Sources disclosed that the young monarch employed personalities that Olori Sekinat has a deep respect for to make her accept the fact that he is about to take a second wife.
Sources divulged that though she has “helplessly” accepted the “situation”, Olori Sekinat is especially pained that her husband is getting married to a new wife in the month of their wedding anniversary.
Oba Elegushi and Olori Sekinat got married on May 24, 2003, before he became king.
And today, May 3, 2019, the young King picks wife number 2 from Kano state.
