It was a celebration galore at the Royal Palace of Olota of Otta, Awori Kingdom, yesterday, 21st December 2021 as the wife of our most Revered Royal Father, Olori Oloruntoyin Obalanlege, in the spirit of yuletide host kids in Otta and its environs to a fun-filled event.
The event was equally organized to responsibly engage the kids at an early age for the betterment of their future.
Prince Adeyemi Sulaimon Olusesi made this known in a statement made available to newsheadline247 on Tuesday.
In his welcome address, Balogun of Otta, High Chief Idowu Isiaka Balogun who represented the Olota of Otta at the well-attended event described the gesture as thoughtful and timely. He urged the participants to consider the platform as an opportunity to grow, and foster unity among themselves. He added that God in his infinite mercies will continue to enrich Olori Oloruntoyin Obalanlege and her entire team.
At this year’s Olori Oloruntoyin Obalanlege Children’s Christmas Party, various schools within the axis of Ota such as; St Michael Primary School, AUD Practising Primary School, Zion Methodist Primary School, ODC School 1, Sango Otta, ODC School 2, Sango Otta, ODC School 3, Sango Otta, ODC School, Otun Otta, St James Primary School participated. Also in attendance, and through the offices of the quarters’ kings, the Akeweje of Ota land, were children across the Ota Kingdom.
The wife of Oluwo Itoki Otta, Yeye Similola Dada who spoke on behalf of Olori Oloruntoyin Obalanlege Foundation, assured the kids and other guests that the event will host annually, and will be used to discover and build future leaders for the prosperous Otta Kingdom. She equally thanked all dignitaries at the event for their support while charging all and sundry to remain responsible in their daily activities.
Dignitaries at the event include Our most Revered Royal Father, Olofin Apesin Olode, Olota of Otta, His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege PhD ably represented by the Balogun of Otta, High Chief Idowu Isiaka Balogun, Chief(Mrs) Tawakalt Aroboto(Gbobaniyi of Otta), Chief(Mrs) Olusade Ogunwale(Otun Iyalaje of Otta), Yeye Simpson Dada (Wife of the Oluwo Itoki Otta) , and others.
