Port Harcourt Refinery Resumes Full Operations After System Upgrade
The management of the recently reactivated Port Harcourt Refinery announced on Sunday night that it has resumed full operations following a brief interruption last week caused by a system upgrade.
Ibrahim Onoja shared this information after leading journalists on a tour of the refinery.
He noted that the plant has undergone extensive upgrades to improve its efficiency and reliability, which have positively impacted production capacity.
”We replaced most of the equipment including pumps installation and cables. The plant is running and we are trucking out our products,” he said.
Mr. Moyi Maidunama, the Director of Operations at the Nigeria Pipeline Storage Company (NPSC) Ltd, also acknowledged a temporary reduction in production.
However, he explained that this reduction was necessary to resolve some technical issues and enhance the facility’s delivery capacity
