Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has rejected a ₦50 million offer to face popular streamer Carter Efe in a proposed celebrity boxing match, describing the sum as inadequate for stepping into the ring.

The proposal was floated by music executive Soso Soberekon during a livestream session and was immediately accepted by Carter Efe, who urged that the bout be fixed without delay.

Portable, however, raised the bar, demanding not just the ₦50 million purse but also a luxury car valued at ₦300 million, bringing his total conditions to ₦350 million before he would agree to fight.

According to the singer, the financial terms must reflect what he considers the risk and hype surrounding the contest. He further boasted about his fighting credentials, citing previous physical confrontations with Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington as proof of his readiness for the ring.

The demand has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans debating whether the proposed celebrity bout will materialise or collapse over the escalating price tag.
