PRESS RELEASE: ADO-ODO/OTA LG CHAIRMAN SWEARS-IN 80 POLITICAL APPOINTEES
The Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA, has sworn in 80 Senior Political Assistants and Political Assistants appointed by the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun CON. During the ceremony, Hon. Lawal expressed his appreciation to the Governor for entrusting these key roles to the appointees and charged them to contribute meaningfully to the local government’s growth and development.
Hon Wasiu Lawal, charged the newly sworn in political aides to see their appointments as a call to service for the betterment of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government, Ogun State and the Nation as a whole.
Party leaders, including Hon. Engr. Tunji Akinosi, Member of the House of Representatives, and other APC leaders, delivered goodwill messages, commending the Governor’s visionary leadership and commitment to grassroots development. They encouraged the appointees to work diligently in their new roles.
The All Progressive Congress Chairman for Ado-Odo/Ota, Mr. Akeran Jimoh, praised the Governor’s initiative, describing it as progressive and aimed at delivering democracy’s dividends to the people at the local level. He urged the appointees to view their roles as a call to service for the betterment of the people and the party.
Mr. Olanrewaju Yakub, representing the appointees, delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Governor, Deputy Governor, and party leaders. He assured that the appointees would serve with loyalty, integrity, and commitment to the people.
The ceremony was attended by prominent party leaders, stalwarts, and career heads, underscoring the Governor’s commitment to strengthening governance at the grassroots level and empowering local leaders.
