Awori Prince and community lawyer, Abiodun Akinboyede has officially declared his intention to contest for Federal House of Representatives, Ado-odo/Otta federal constituency.
Prince Akinboyede who picked his nomination and expression of interest forms Wednesday in Abeokuta will be contesting under the platform of African Democratic Congress, (ADC).
According to a statement issued by the Abiodun Akinboyede Campaign Organisation, the Awori prince said he is willing to sacrifice time, success and experience achieved over the years for the betterment of his people.
Akinboyede in the statement said he was determined to embark on a journey of selfless service to the people of Ado-odo/Otta federal constituency.
“I am willing to sacrifice time, experience and success achieved over the years for the passion to have experienced true emancipation through all inclusive representation,” he said
While lamenting on the plights of the youth, Akinboyede said youth can only be useful for themselves and society only under a real and genuine government of the people.
He said, “Our youths embrace riding okada as an alternative to learning skills or using skills learnt over the years and degrees earned with tears and toils.
“We need to ask questions of our leaders. We are the people who can make a change. A positive change, not the type that we got from the lies we were told.
“Youths can only be useful for themselves and society only under a real and genuine government of the people.”
Akinboyede, however, added that all set goals for the constituency can only be achieved with unalloyed supports he craves for from the people of his constituency.
“We can achieve the Ado-odo/Otta federal constituency of our dreams with your total support. So I am humbly calling the entire people of Ado-odo/Otta to give me their mandate to revamp and reform the sorry state of this constituency,” he said.
