Imran, son of retired military man, General Buba Marwa, and his wife, Munirat, has taken his parents to high heavens with his academic performance.

The younger Marwa bags first class in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.

Imran graduated last Thursday amidst pomp and ceremony. The influential retired general and his wife stormed Charnwood Borough of Leicestershire, where the university is located, in high spirits to attend the graduation ceremony.

Imran earned a first class from such a prestigious university ranked fourth in the 2019 Guardian University Rankings List. The Loughborough University has an age-long history of her Bachelor’s degree graduates not having their head capped as only the Masters’ degree wear mortarboards. “I am very happy and grateful to God. May our country reap the benefits of our collective efforts and achievements.

God bless Nigeria,” said Imran, born in April 1998 when his proud father was in service as military administrator of Lagos State.
