Olajide Lawal, the General Manager of Eko FM and Radio Lagos, on Thursday led the management team of the broadcast house on a courtesy visit to the palace of the Oniru of Iru Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Oba Abdul-Wasiu Omogbolahan Lawal.

The billionaire monarch who is the 15th Oniru of Iruland is the second to explore areas of mutual benefit to both the community and the Organisation.

The radio stations’ GM, Mr Lawal, who commended the Oba for his leadership role and his vision for Iruland, said the visit was to further encourage the propagation of Iru cultural values and traditions on the Stations.

Reiterating the Stations’ availability to partner with Oba Lawal and promote his vision on LeGit – “Let’s Grow Iru Together”, the General Manager said the station had rebranded its social media platforms to attract more traffic to the Stations.

Responding, the Oniru of Iruland expressed delight at the visit by the management, noting the outstanding efforts by its General Manager as the Public Affairs Officer of Ministry of Agriculture when the Oba was the Commissioner.

Congratulating him as the new General Manager, Oba Lawal, assured of his support and patronage for mutual progress.
