Lagos frontline politician and pharmacist, Olujimi Agbaje has sent greetings to Muslims on the
commencement of the 2022 holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar observed by Muslims worldwide as a month for fasting, prayer, reflection, and assisting the needy. During the period, Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, and sexual activities from dawn to dusk for 29 or 30 days, this depends on when a new moon is sighted.
Agbaje in a message said Ramadan is a month of deep devotion for Muslims which comes with peace, harmony and joy.

He urged the Muslim ummah to make use of the boundless spiritual opportunities of the holy month to pray for tranquillity in the country adding that only a peaceful nation gives room for human, economy and infrastructural development.
Agbaje, a two-time governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State, added that “only intense compassion for ourselves as individuals and our various communities can lead us to produce the desired leadership we truly deserve.”
He said such attribute is what Ramadan is all about saying we must all learn from the moral virtues of the month for us to have a peaceful and progressive country.
The revered pharmacist also advised the Muslim ummah to express care and love to one another adding that those who are blessed should demonstrate deep affection towards the less privileged in their respective communities.
