In a statement obtained by newsheadline247, Senator Daniel expressed “shock” at the news of the Ijeshaland monarch’s death.

As the Asoju Oba of the Kingdom, he lamented the loss of a remarkable figure who was a guardian of Nigeria’s history and culture.

The statement conveyed his deep sorrow at the passing of HRM Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, emphasizing the great loss to Nigeria and Yoruba land due to the monarch’s 40-year reign and remarkable legacy.

The statement read; “Today, I received depressing news about the passage of HRM, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, the Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland who joined his ancestors.

“Expectedly, this is a shock to me, especially because as the Asoju Oba of Ijeshaland, we got closer enough to know that Nigeria and Yoruba land will miss a lot with this painful passage at this time.

“The country has lost a refined personality who is also a custodian of our history and culture with his 40 years on the throne .
