Preparations are underway for the 2023 Mechanical Engineering Distinguished Annual Lecture (MEDL), a prestigious event featuring insightful discourse and meaningful engagement.
The event has been carefuly planned to feature Senator Gbenga Daniel, as the distinguished Guest Speaker of the programe.
OGD, as Daniel, the peoples’ senator is widley addressed, is a former governor of Ogun State and a notable figure in the field of engineering. He holds the titles of FNSE (Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers) and FNIMechE (Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers). Senator Gbenga Daniel will deliver a speech on the topic: “Engineering as a Solution to Development and the Creation of Jobs in Nigeria,” addressing the audience.
The event will be under the distinguished chairmanship of Engr. Tasiu Saad Gidari Wudil, FNSE, the President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
The Special Guest of Honor at this event will be Mr. Henry Dele Alake, the Minister of Solid Minerals, bringing his expertise to the discussion.
