‘She was a symbol of motherhood…,’ Senator Daniel pays tribute to Hajia Yar’Adua

Former Governor of Ogun State and Senator representing the Ogun East Senatorial District, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has described the passage of the matriarch of the Yar’Adua family, Hajia Dada Musa Yar’Adua as a great loss to the Nigerian nation.
Senator Daniel, who is also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on The Navy, in his condolence message on the demise of Hajia Dada Musa Yar’Adua described her as a very strong woman who raised Champions and heroes.
“Hajia’s life was clearly defined in Motherhood, a clear testament of her strong will and resilience which was evident in the lives of her children including late former President Umar Musa Yar’Adua.
“We can mourn this exceptional woman only as a Champion and symbol of what parenting could be. Her strength of courage and physical uprightness is demonstrated in her long years, living up to the very ripe old age of 102 years against every odds.
“My sincere condolences to the Governor and good people of Katsina State, members of the Yar’Adua family over this painful but inevitable passage. I pray that Almighty Allah grants them the strength to bear the painful exit.
