In a proactive effort to combat environmental issues and mitigate flooding, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, the Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, spearheaded an advocacy initiative with traders across Oyingbo, Victoria Island, and other areas in Lagos.
During this ground-level campaign, Wahab emphasized the importance of keeping drainage channels clear and urged traders to refrain from placing goods on these areas as the rainy season approaches.
He underscored the need for compliance with Lagos State environmental laws, warning that failure to do so would result in strict enforcement measures.
