Emerging details have revealed that there are indications that Olori Naomi Silekunola may have listened to the voice of reason enough for her to put aside whatever ill feelings she has towards the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, with plans to return to the palace.
Olori Naomi had publicly announced an end to her marriage to the revered Yoruba monarch and accused him of portraying a different persona from what the public knows of him.
But the chairman, Ondo state council of Obas and the Deji of Akure land, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi reportedly intervened and reached out to both parties in a bid to end the skirmishes.
The Ondo monarch’s intervention is all due to the fact that Olori Naomi who married the Ooni in 2018 is from Ondo Town, Ondo State and after publicly parting ways with the Ooni, she moved back to her hometown.
Those how are familiar with the development informed that the meeting between both parties was successful as they reportedly responded positively to the intervention of the Deji of Akure land.
“It will interest you to know that the matter would soon be resolved as both parties have agreed to sheathe the sword.
”Their differences are normal in marriage, it’s nothing unusual, its a teething problem and within a couple of days, the Olori will move back to the palace and life will continue.
”Don’t believe all the stories in the social media, it was over-bloated, the couple would soon reconcile going by the intervention of the Deji of Akure, ” a source told Vanguard newspaper.
