In a glowing tribute filled with pride, gratitude, and deep community affection, the Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Lawal Wasiu Adewale, has led the people of the council in celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Ogun State Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, FNSE, who turned 60 on January 8, 2026.

Describing the milestone as one that “deserves to be celebrated with fanfare, reverence, and joy,” the Chairman hailed Engr. Salako-Oyedele as far more than a high-ranking public official—she is “the story of our community, written in grit, grace, and greatness.”

Born and raised in Ado-Odo/Ota, the Deputy Governor has carried the aspirations of generations into the corridors of power and delivered results that continue to inspire.

“Your ascent to the office of Deputy Governor of Ogun State is not just a personal triumph, it is a beacon of inspiration for every girl child, every young woman, and every ambitious soul in Ado-Odo/Ota who dared to dream big,” Hon. Lawal wrote.

A Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and a trailblazing technocrat, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has broken barriers in a traditionally male-dominated profession, proving that excellence, integrity, and hard work transcend gender.

Her tenure as Deputy Governor has been defined by visible impact—from championing women’s economic empowerment to driving massive infrastructure projects across all 20 Local Government Areas of Ogun State. Roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and agricultural initiatives have all felt her decisive, hands-on leadership style.

“When you walk the streets of Ado-Odo/Ota, people do not just see the Deputy Governor, they see their own. The daughter who studied hard, worked harder and rose higher, now giving back with wisdom, warmth and will,” the Chairman emphasized.

Hon. Lawal Wasiu Adewale described the celebrant as “60 years young and still rising,” adding that “sixty is not old—it is classic. It is seasoned. It is legendary.”

He prayed for continued good health, divine favor, unshakable peace, wisdom, courage, compassion, and fulfillment in all her endeavors, both public and personal.

“Happy 60th Birthday, Your Excellency. You are a gift to Ogun State and a shining star to Ado-Odo/Ota. We love you, honor you, and stand with you today and always,” the Chairman concluded.
