Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has urged Lagos traders to stay away from rail lines, warning them against impeding fatalities from being too close to rail lines
The governor who maintained that the rail facilities were built for transportation and not trading expressed his concerns over avoidable and unnecessary deaths in the state should the traders continue to hawk trade on the rail lines.
“I don’t want you to die, I don’t want problem for my people,” he said.
He also warned that wares of traders that refused to abide by the directives would be confiscated as from next week.
