2019: Ogun indigenes in diaspora drum support for GNI

Two-time governorship candidate in Ogun State, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI) has been assured of total support by the indigenes of the state in the diaspora.

A group under the aegis of GNI Solidarity Movement, USA and Canada has drummed up support for Gboyega Nasir Isiaka in his pursuit to become the next governor of Ogun State in 2019.

According to a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the group, Kayode Abegunde and Boladale Alli, “Having reviewed the activities of GNI which are geared towards improving the standard of living of Ogun State indigenes in the past years, We strongly believe Ogun State will rise and shine again under the leadership of Mr. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka.

“It is on this note, on behalf of the group, that we, therefore, give our total support and endorsement to him, We, however, encourage other indigenes of Ogun State to give maximum support to him by ensuring that he comes atop in the governorship election next year”.

The Director of Operations of the group, Segun Gbayi, noted that he has no doubt about the fact that the people of Ogun State will be doing themselves a great favour by giving GNI the mandate and opportunity to administer the government in the state as all the contents in his blueprint are people-oriented.
