The appointments, which cover 26 committees, are expected to strengthen the party’s political structure, deepen grassroots engagement, promote internal cohesion and coordinate its mobilisation efforts as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
Among the prominent figures appointed is Chief Jide Ojuko, a leading political figure in Ogun West, who will chair the Reconciliation, Integration and Conflict Management Committee. His appointment is expected to place him at the forefront of efforts to foster unity, address internal disagreements and strengthen relationships among party members and stakeholders.
Alhaji Kola Salako was named Chairman of the Planning and Strategy Committee, a key position responsible for coordinating campaign planning and developing strategies to advance the party’s electoral objectives.
Yeye Kemi Adeogun will head the Welfare Committee, while Segun Ojuko has been appointed Chairman of the Intergovernmental Agency Relations Committee. Two-term member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Aina Akinpelu, will lead the League of Professionals Committee.

The composition of the campaign council reflects an effort by the party to bring together political stakeholders, experienced grassroots organisers, professionals, youth representatives, women leaders and other interest groups under a coordinated campaign structure.
The committees are expected to work collectively to strengthen the APC’s presence across Ado-Odo/Ota, improve communication with voters, mobilise support groups and build the political alliances required to secure electoral success in the local government during the 2027 general elections.
With the appointments, the party is positioning its local campaign machinery for a more coordinated approach to political mobilisation, strategic planning and voter engagement ahead of what is expected to be a keenly contested election cycle.
