Hon. Aina Akinpelu, a member of the APC-PCC Campaign Planning Directorate, has congratulated the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima, for emerging victorious at the 2023 Presidential elections.

In a statement made available to the media, Akinpelu said the emergence of Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria is the best for the country, particularly, at this critical trying period.

“Regarding the success of the President-Elect, I congratulate Asiwaju Tinubu and am glad that in my own capacity as a member of Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Planning Directorate under the leadership of Engr. Maihaja, alongside members of the Campaign Planning Directorate and APC-PCC Directorate in general, I contributed my quota to his victory,” he said.

Akinpelu, the Baamofin of Ota, Aworiland, assured Nigerians that the Tinubu-Shettima-led government would make Nigeria work for all irrespective of tribe, religion, region or political affiliations.

He added that the election of Tinubu will further boost Nigeria’s standing as the economic powerhouse of Africa and consolidate its position as the continent’s giant in all facets of the development of Africa with a template from Lagos State when he served as the state governor from 1999 to 2007.

Akinpelu, a former two-term member of the Ogun State House of Assembly and currently, a Commissioner in the Ogun State Judicial Service Commission, also called on Nigerians to support Tinubu’s administration while asking the opposition to join hands in working together for a better Nigeria and its citizens.

“Nigeria can be better and be at its best as a nation with His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president and of course with the support of all stakeholders including the oppositions. This is the best time for us as people of this great nation to work together for a common goal and the greatness of the country,” he said.

Akinpelu who is also the Campaign Deputy Director Ado-Odo/Ota Constituency 1 and Campaign Chairman, Ota Central L.C.D.A also congratulated Ogun West Senator-elect, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola and Engr. Tunji Akinosi. He assured the people of Ogun West and Ado-Odo/Ota federal constituents of unprecedented representation from the newly elected federal lawmakers.

Meanwhile, as the governorship election draws closer, Akinpelu called on the good people of Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State to come out en mass on Saturday, 18th of March and vote massively for APC and the second term of Prince Dapo Abiodun as governor of Ogun State.

He urged the people of his local government, Ogun West Senatorial district and Ogun State in general to vote for Prince Dapo Abiodun as governor and Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele for second term ditto for Hon. Sherif Yusuf and Hon. Lamidi Musefiu Olatunji as members of Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ota State Constituency and Ado/Igbesa State Constituency respectfully.

While pointing to Governor Abiodun’s unprecedented achievements as Ogun State governor in the last three and a half years, Akinpelu said “Governor Abiodun since assuming office has been transforming Ogun into the dream State, we all crave for.”

“Our dream of a better Ogun State for all is gradually becoming a reality under the stewardship of Governor Dapo Abiodun and we can only sustain this rare progression by voting for him unequivocally for second term in office in order to continue with the tempo of the ongoing rapid development across Ogun State,” Akinpelu said.
