In January, newsheadline247 reports that the construction project for the 64-kilometre Ota-Idiroko road, with a budget of N15 billion, was approved, marking a significant step forward in its realization.

This project is one of the major road constructions outlined in the 2024 budget, following an increase in the Ministry of Works’ budget allocation to N1.03 trillion, a substantial rise from the proposed N657.3 billion.

This reflects a 56.7% increase from the original figure and a 65.4% increase from the 2023 budget allocation.

More details will be provided shortly.
